Make GA4 answer questions, not create them.
GA4 is genuinely powerful and genuinely hostile to casual users. We configure it around your business questions and teach your team to get answers out of it.
Nobody chose GA4. It arrived, dressed as an upgrade, and made everyone feel stupid. But it's the standard now - and configured well, it's better than what it replaced.
What "configured well" means
- Events that mirror your funnel: designed from your customer journey, not whatever the auto-collection happened to grab.
- Conversions worth the name: real business outcomes with values attached, feeding both reports and ad platform bidding.
- Tracking that doesn't leak: cross-domain journeys, subdomains, forms (HubSpot included - we wrote the guide), and payment flows stitched together properly.
- Reports people open twice: explorations and dashboards for the questions your team asks, built once, used weekly.
- Documentation: what's tracked, what it means, where the bodies are buried. Institutional memory beats tribal knowledge.
Convertr needed GA4 done "accurately and quickly." Their words, our reference.
Questions we get asked
Our GA4 was auto-migrated from Universal Analytics. Is that a problem?
Almost certainly. Auto-migrated properties carry over clutter, mis-mapped events, and defaults nobody chose. We audit what's actually being collected versus what you need, then rebuild the gap - usually less work than living with the confusion.
Why don't our GA4 numbers match our CRM / ad platforms?
Different tools count different things - modelled data, attribution windows, consent gaps all diverge. Some variance is physics. What we do is minimise it, explain the remainder, and establish which number is the decision-making one, so meetings stop relitigating the dashboard.
Can you train our team?
Yes - short, practical sessions built around the reports you'll actually use. GA4 stops being infuriating once someone shows you the five views that matter for your business and lets you ignore the rest.
